Facebook is currently the largest and fastedt growing social networking site on the Internet. Although it started out as a site primarily for college students, it is now a considered a key component of almost every Social Media Marketing strategy.
Unlike most other social sites, Facebook actually embraces the idea that people can use their site to build their businesses. But, there’s an art to using this site in that way. You must interact with your Friends and followers and Facebook provides many tools to do just that.
Facebook is filled with all kinds of resources, applications, groups,networks, and profile elements so don’t let yourself get overwhelmed by them. Instead of joining every group that interests you or adding every application, make sure that it’s really something that will meet your goals for the site and enhance your experience there. If not, don’t use that feature.

Just like with Squidoo, Hubpages, Twitter and all of the other Social Media sites, your goal is to add quality “Friends” or Followers. Resist the urge to use dubious tactics and techniques to add to your friends list. These won’t work, and will most likely get you banned.The easiest way to build your number of followers is to Interact and provide pertinent information.
